Oh, my. Where to begin. Frankly, I was so enraptured by the first book, 'Seeing White', that I was a bit hesitant to dig into the second. Very often, the second book in a trilogy doesn't do justice to the first, but in this case Ms. Hart ground my misconceptions into dust. Typical of her, she kept up the momentum from the first without a single stumble and, in fact, ramped up the action to a delicious crescendo. It's rare when a book draws you into the story to the degree you ask yourself, "If I were in Elizabeth's place, what would I do?" Which is precisely what I did on several occasions, not always agreeing but that's what makes it fun.
And yes, to my delight, the supporting cast was there in all their glory adding texture and angst, Belle, Conner, Pascal, Teresa, all of whom I hope to see more of in 'Absorbing White', the final book. Can the Beauty tame her Beast? Will she want to? Let's see, shall we? Loved it!!
Interesting story but a bit long winded. I am looking forward to the final book and hope you can cut back on the repetitive thoughts that continued throughout book. Over all, good start for a new author.
This book has lots of things that keep me reading. I like the story. It keeps me thinking where this going? And I need to read book 3 to see how things work out for Elizabeth and Alex, Belle and Connor, and even Evie.
This book series takes me to the edge of my seat anticipating what will Mr. Alex White will reveal next of his many characters and how Beth and he will endure the unraveling
I loved the first book and Ms. Hart did not disappoint with this book either. I don't do spoilers but I can say that this is a steamy read that is geared more for grown ups. She manages to engage the readers mind as well as their libido. Give it a read and let Mr White and Beth show you how intense and hot it can get.
Charlotte E Hart Did an Amazing Job writing the second book to her White Trilogy I absolutely loved It. You can tell she put so much into her writing of this series. She brings the characters together beautifully and makes you want to know more about each one and what there stories are. Bringing together Whites Darkness with Beth as his Heart and Soul. A beautiful story about a Damaged man and a Woman who is learning her desires and finding the truth in being loved by him. The Sex scenes are HOT HOT HOT.. ) Can't wait to read the 3rd book.
Feeling White did not disappoint such a great series !! I love how complicated and dark Mr. White is, he's irresistible . The twist and turns in the book keep you captivated from the first word to the last. No true love is ever smooth it's the twist and turns in the storyline that make it believable and delicious to read. Can't wait for book 3, I don't usually like series but this one has had me hook from one please hurry With the next book!!!
